The Evolution of Healing: Learning to Love Yourself Again

Hey you,

How’s your healing journey going?

There are so many ups and downs along the way that your perspective on healing can change over time. We all have a different journey, a different timeline, and a different way of navigating it. And honestly, we never really arrive. We are ever-changing, continually growing, and discovering new things about ourselves along the way.

Lately, though, I’ve felt a spark for more.

Little ideas keep popping up. They whisper:

Dress up more. Do your hair differently. Show up better for yourself.

Because one thing people don’t always talk about is how healing and grief can strip away your desire to care for yourself.

Sometimes, taking a shower feels hard. Brushing your hair feels exhausting. And simply showing up and functioning is the best you can do.

And that’s okay. Sometimes, getting through the day is enough.

But I think for some of you, just as it has been for me, God is saying, It’s time.

It’s time to let some of the light back in. To breathe a little life into your routine again. To start doing some of the things that make you feel good about yourself.

In other words, it’s time to love yourself better.

Maybe that looks like investing in your skincare routine, exploring your personal style, trying a new hairstyle, or using that raise to schedule a massage regularly.

It doesn’t have to be a dramatic transformation. It can be as simple as making more room for the things that help you feel cared for, confident, and connected to yourself again.

You know what you need. And I believe God has been gently whispering some of those things to your heart.

So consider this your green light to go for it.

Give yourself permission to grow into this next version of you. You’ve spent time healing, processing, and finding your way back. Now, maybe it’s time to explore what it looks like to enjoy yourself again.

Love on you, daughter. You’re allowed to feel good, too.

This is your time.
