Redemption Belongs to God
Do you get angered by injustice? Whether it happens to you or to someone else, you don’t care; you just feel the flame of passion rise, ready to burn those who caused the hurt.
When Anger Becomes Dangerous
Anger itself isn’t wrong. In fact, it can be a beautiful thing. Anger often fuels our passion to bring about change, no matter the sacrifice.
But have you ever let anger take you in the wrong direction by leading you to destruction instead of transformation? That’s when anger becomes dangerous.
Redemption belongs to God.
Surrendering Resentment
I know that can be a hard truth to embrace, especially when resentment feels like it’s consuming your whole being. But if you want to live a meaningful life, you have to release it. And I get it, letting go isn’t easy. It doesn’t always happen in one night or with a single prayer.
Sometimes it takes tears, wrestling with God, laying it at His feet again… and again. But here’s the beauty: when you choose to surrender little by little, no matter how much it hurts, something shifts.
You get your power back.
The power someone tried to take from you is returned, not through revenge, but through trust. Trusting God to do what you wanted to do yourself but choosing His way instead. And life becomes lighter, because you don’t have to live with the consequences of revenge.
God’s justice doesn’t always come on our timeline, but when we trust Him anyway, we’re able to walk in freedom, out of the dark halls of resentment and into the life He has prepared for us.
Heartwork
