How to Enjoy Your Life While Still Healing

Let’s take a step back and pivot a bit. I started my newsletter and redirected my blog so others would know they weren't alone on their path of healing. You likely read this blog because you also long to love yourself fully. We embarked on this journey together because in the desire to heal, we realized the reality of the saying “healing is not linear” and what it really means. But in the season of learning to slow down and go at an even pace I’ve learned something else:

it’s time that we live!

Outside the flowers are blooming. The cold is beginning to dissipate. But just like the chill in the air that reminds us that winter still lingers, we are reminded of our own lingering unresolved past that exists beneath the surface of our healing. As you navigate that reality you also want to experience the warmth again. To smile. To laugh carelessly and embrace what’s ahead. So, as we lay down our fears of what could hurt us, let’s also make a vow to enjoy life, live life, and embrace it to its fullest.

And it may not come easy. But maybe it will.

Whether it’s:

Entering a meaningful relationship.

Going out alone.

Taking the trip.

Going to the concert.

Growing the garden.

Dreaming again.

Setting goals.

Starting a new job.

Moving out

Or moving in.

It’s time to live.

Like the flowers, beginning to bloom, spread your petals, open your arms and embrace the garden of life now before you.

You are smarter, wiser, better. You are her and she is here!

Proverbs 31:25

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.
